Use this exercise to gain a better understanding of where you perceive your preferences to be. This is particularly useful if the online questionnaire is not part of your development, or perhaps as preparation for the workshop.
- Refer to the dimensions summary and your ideas on additional clues when doing this exercise.
- For each dimension, decide where you think you would score on a scale of 0 to 15. Remember that a high or low score is not necessarily good or bad: recognition and awareness are what we are striving for here.
- Add up your scores.
- If your total does not equal 30, go back to your scoring and decide how to adjust your scores so they do add up to 30. For instance, if your total was 32, which dimension should you reduce the score for?
Don’t get too consumed by this exercise; it is simply a good idea to have an estimate in mind before you receive your report. If you are not going to get a report, it will help you to learn the dimensions so that you can proceed with other exercises as if you did have a report.
