What is work?
“An activity I get paid to do.”
“Something I do that adds value.”
Two worldviews that invoke wildly different experiences of life.
Expectation: I do this because I will get rewarded.
Contribution: I do this because I want to help.
If we thought of these two views as either ends of a spectrum, I’d wager the majority of my readers would be more than half way towards the “want to do” end.
My hope is that the value I add will nudge you further in that direction.
